hello everyone ! yesterday we , Sec 3 Maju , went hiking at Bukit Timah with Tch Sarah ! it was a fun experience because this was my second time that i went hiking . this was much more challenging than the previous one ! i fell down 3 times in total ! i injured myself again and again and again . that's three ! hahaha ;)
first , we had to walk-up so called the 'Twillight Path' , they called it . it was very steep , no stairs , just slippery path all the way up . it was cool cause there were mists all around the forest . i walked alone for like 5 minutes just to appreciate , Subhanallah , Allah's creation ! then , we had to decide , the summit or the quarry ? c'mmon ! who doesn't know I'M-IN-LOVE with lakes ! but , at the same time , reaching the peak of Bukit Timah is my goal . so there we go . a shorter way to success ust be tougher . yes , indeed . the stairs was like very high we had to get our legs up and up non-stop . and it was very muddy since it was raining . we didn't feel the heavy rain because according to geography , the canopy layer of tropical rainforest is thick and they forms crown-interlock between canopies , so it was like raining cats and dogs for us .
Alhamdulillah ! despite of falling down once when going up to the summit , there comes another great achievement ! we then cam-whored , and took class photos ! i was so happy to see us . what comes up , must go down ... alright , let's get down ! again , we took another very difficult route . but the scenery was better , you see the plants , sunlight and a mini-waterfall ! we splashed the water to our tired faces , and tch said read bismillah before drinking , and only two palms of water allowed ! refreshing enough . when there were light and we had to go up a verry-slippery-hill , i fell down like really hard ! gosh , alhamdulillah , i didn't like slipped down . so like 10 minutes later , finally last plane of stairs and i tripped but it wasn't hard . so , i was the dirtiest . oopppsss ... i mean my jeans were dirty liek mud everywhere . yucks .
now pain everywhere , but overall , Hiking at Bukit Timah with Sec3 Maju & Tch Sarah was challenging yet a great & fun experience. ;)
